The Harrison Public Library, found just behind the train station ha s been educating the community for years with almost daily Youth Arts programs, computer classes and several book groups for members.
Harrison offers many recreational programs for children and adults, including tennis, golf and lacrosse. The town begins many of these programs when the children reach 1st & 2nd grade and continue on through adulthood. The West Harrison Group and The Downtown Group meet and allow senior citizens to stay connected to the community through bingo, group discussions, day trips, overnight trips, luncheons, special movie dates and exercise and line dancing classes.
